Fear & Loathing in Bangalore, Monkeygate and calling the kettle black

Traditionalists,

It's on now.
This from today's fishwraps:

"Relations between the two sides are now at its lowest point since the Monkeygate scandal of 2007-08."

Viral Rat casually labelling the entirely innocent Aussies "cheats" - talk about calling the kettle black!
So, Smiffy had a "brain fade" - wasn't the first time in the match.
The umpires, damn them, had more than a brain fade - their noodles were totally fried from over-work in Bangalore - must be rested for the next game.
Surely, surely the Marsh Experiment is over, with Smiffy throwing SE Marsh under a bus in the 2nd inns - expendable on the spot.
Must give My Mate Keith Mason QC a ring and ask him how many times The Munchers broke, bent, and worse, openly flouted, the Laws.

"Despite failing to fire a shot with the bat, no player wielded more influence on this match than the belligerent Kohli, who showed scant regard for the traditions of the game in his pursuit of victory." [My italics]

That's illegal!
Law 42[1]. The responsibility lies with the Captains for ensuring that play in conducted within the spirit and traditions of the game as described in the Preamble - The Spirit of the Game - as well as within the Laws.

What would MJ Clarke do?

Only one thing is certain, Viral Rat will be called names next week in Ranchi - a hotbed of the Sepoy Mutiny [btw, the Indians lost that one].
One of the suburbs of Ranchi - ironically - is called Khunti.
How apt.
It would not have escaped the Strayan's notice.

1-1.
Bring it on.

2nd Test Match, Bangalore.
India 189 & 274.
Australia 276 & 112.
India won by 75 runs.
